Your way into the Chiemgau Arena

Attention! 1.5 hours before the start of the competition, the road to the stadium (B305) will be completely closed and only shuttle vehicles will be allowed to drive! It will then no longer be possible to drive through to Reit im Winkl.

 

  • Departure Points: 
    • Ruhpolding train station and speedway stadium (Zeller Straße) as well as according to the parking guidance system
    • Reit im Winkl (for a fee!) Info und Prices
    • Inzell (from Wednesday; departure points via parking guidance system on site)
    • Siegsdorf (only Saturday and Sunday; departure points via parking guidance system on site)

  

  • Departure times
    train station & speedway stadium and according to the parking guidance system (regular departures):
    • Mon. & Tue.: 10:30 - 16:30
    • Wed. - Sat: 10:30 - 18:00
    • Sunday: 08:30 - 18:00

 

 

VIP Shuttle

  • Departure points: VR Bank Ruhpolding & VIP Parking (watch out for signs!)
  • Departure times (regular departures): 
    • Wed. - Sat.: from 11:00 a.m.
    • Sunday: from 09:30 a.m.
  • Return journey from the stadium: until approx. 18:00/18.30 hrs.

There are NO access and parking facilities at the Chiemgau Arena!

  • Via the A8: Take the exit Traunstein/Siegsdorf, from here follow the signs to the parking lots in Ruhpoldng and Inzell
  • From Salzburg/­Berchtesgaden: direct access via the Deutsche Alpenstraße (German Alpine Road) to the parking lots in Inzell
  • From Tyrol: Approach via Reit im Winkl and on by shuttle bus (Note: There is a fee for the transportation to the Chiemgau Arena)
  • Transportation from the parking lots to the Chiemgau Arena is possible exclusively by shuttle bus or by foot
  • From Ruhpolding via footpaths along the Traun via Laubau to the Chiemgau Arena; walking time approx. 1.5 to 2 hours

 

Departure points shuttle busses (regular departures):

  • Ruhpolding train station and Speedway stadium (Zeller Street)
  • Inzell (from Wednesday; departure points via parking guidance system)
  • Siegsdorf (only Saturday and Sunday; departure points via parking guidance system)
  • Travel time to the Chiemgau Arena approx. 15-20 minutes

 

We recommend using public transport, especially at weekends. Shuttle buses run at regular intervals from the public parking lots in Inzell and Siegsdorf to take you to the Chiemgau Arena in Ruhpolding.

The Bayerische Regiobahn (BRB) takes you comfortably from Munich, Salzburg or the surrounding communities via Traunstein to Ruhpolding. Every event ticket includes travel with the BRB on the Traunstein - Ruhpolding section!

 

     

  • A free shuttle bus will take you from Ruhpolding station to the Chiemgau Arena.
  • The bus shuttle runs regularly; journey time to the Chiemgau Arena approx. 15 - 20 minutes.
  • Alternatively, walk along the Traun via Laubau to the Chiemgau Arena; walking time approx. 1.5 - 2 hours

There are NO access and parking facilities at the Chiemgau Arena!

  • The Fan Bus parking lot is at the Holzknechtmuseum in Ruhpolding
  • Signposted footpaths from the parking lot to the Chiemgau Arena
  • It is not possible for fan buses to get on or off directly at the Chiemgau Arena
  • The walk from the Holzknechtmuseum (fan bus parking lot) to the Chiemgau Arena takes approx. 30 minutes (~2km)
